Propriétés et emplois:
Les chaumes de ce bambou peuvent prendre différentes couleurs. Le vert sombre peut prendre un aspect bleuté, et l’ensemble des cannes sont marbrées de tâches brunes. Ses feuilles fines et légères sont vert foncé.
Il se plaît essentiellement planté en touffe isolée, ou en massif.
